Prince Peter Kropotkin (1842–1921) was a Russian aristocrat, geographer, revolutionary, and one of the most influential anarchist thinkers of the 19th and early 20th centuries. A trained scientist and political exile, Kropotkin combined rigorous field research with radical social critique. His writings, including The Conquest of Bread and Fields, Factories and Workshops, have profoundly shaped anarchist theory and continue to inspire advocates of decentralized, cooperative societies.
