Richard Wheeler

Richard Wheeler was a United States Marine Corps veteran who fought at Iwo Jima during World War II. As a scholar of both the Pacific theater and the American Civil War, he wrote nineteen books, advised film productions, and won the New York City Civil War Round Table’s Fletcher Pratt Award.
