Rockwell Kent

Regarded as the finest American book illustrator of the 1920s and 30s, Rockwell Kent (1882–1971) provided art editions of such novels as Candide, Moby Dick, The Canterbury Tales, and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, as well as such lesser known works as A Basket of Poses and Venus and Adonis. He also provided drawings for Vanity Fair, Life, and Harper's Weekly.
