Ron Stallworth

Sgt. Ron Stallworth is a 20 year veteran of law enforcement currently serving as the Gang Intelligence Coordinator for the Utah Department of Public Safety's Division of Investigations. He has previously worked in the states of Wyoming, Arizona, and Colorado. It was through his efforts that the Utah law enforcement community began addressing the gang presence in the state, in part through his role in the founding of the federally funded Salt Lake Area Gang Project, the first multi-jurisdictional gang suppression and diversion unit in the state. Sgt. Stallworth is nationally recognized as an "expert" on the subject of "gangster" rap music and its correlation to gang cultural behavior and mentality.
