Rudy Rucker

Born in 1946 in Kentucky, Rudy Rucker is a writer, a mathematician, and a former computer science professor. He is the author of thirty-two published books. Rucker received two Philip K. Dick awards for his cyberpunk novels, and also writes science-fiction in a realistic style that he characterizes as transreal. In addition to novels, Rucker has published a number of nonfiction works of popular science, covering topics such as the fourth dimension, infinity, and the meaning of computation. All of these topics appear in his wild SF tales.
