Sandra Bretting

Sandra is the author of a critically acclaimed cozy mystery series called The Missy DuBois Mystery Series, which is produced by Kensington Publishing of New York.A graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, she spent two decades writing feature stories for national newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times and Houston Chronicle. After suffering a near-death experience in 2018, she penned Shameless Persistence: Lessons from a Modern Miracle. The book explores how prayer changed her story; what the Bible says about prayer; and ways prayer has altered lives in modern times and the past. Sandra is a longtime member of The Writers' League of Texas and the national chapter of Sisters in Crime. She lives with her family in a suburb of Houston, Texas.
