Stephen Parker

The Author: Stephen Parker (born 1955) is Senior Lecturer in German at the University of Manchester. He took a First in Modern Languages (French and German) at the University of Leeds and was awarded his doctorate by the University of Manchester in 1983. In 1991-92 he was a Research Fellow of the John Rylands Research Institute, University of Manchester, and in 1993-94 he held a Research Fellowship awarded by the Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung at the Free University, Berlin. His publications relate principally to Peter Huchel's life and work and to the history of Sinn und Form.
