Thomas Sieverts

Thomas Sieverts, architect and city planner. Born 1934 in Hamburg, he studied architecture and urban planning in Stuttgart, Liverpool, and Berlin. In 1966, he founded the Free Planning Group Berlin (FPB). From 1967 he was a professor of architecture and urban planning at the HdK Berlin, Harvard University, and the TU Darmstadt. In 1978, he founded his own office in Bonn, which expanded in 2000 and was renamed S.K.A.T. Architects + urban planners. Member of the Akademie der Künste since 2007.
