Yurdi Yasmi
Yurdi Yasmi is an Indonesian agriculture and forestry expert who is the director of the Plant Production and Protection Division at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations based in the headquarters of FAO in Rome, Italy. He was previously the FAO's special coordinator for Plant Production and Protection Division, the FAO's deputy regional representative for Africa cum the FAO's representative to Ghana, as well as the FAO's coordinator for sustainable agriculture and forest policy officer for Asia and the Pacific.
Yasmi has worked for in the International Rice Research Institute as the director for Southeast Asia, World Agroforestry Centre as the coordinator for Mekong region, the Center for People and Forests as the director for research and capacity building, and the Center for International Forestry Research as a scientist.
