Warning!!! When I purchase a ticket in the app and present the QR code to the reader, it automatically activates Samsung Pay and charges my credit card without asking for authentication via PIN or fingerprint. It's so stealthy I only noticed the multiple charges months later. There's no way to prevent this unless I turn off NFC on my phone settings each time. Interestingly, SL hasn't fixed this issue after all these years. They don't mind grabbing money from people who are oblivious to this.

The QR never works first try on the busses. You need to hold your phone super straight for the reader to align just perfectly with the reader. Please take some notes from the Skånetrafiken app where they let you click the QR code and it becomes bigger, it goes center aligned on the screen and it blacks out the rest of the screen around the QR code. They know what they're doing with this feature, the SL app must provide the same functionality for the sake of all of your bus drivers' sanity.

Hi! If you are experiencing issues when scanning your app ticket it could be that the reader got scratches after a lot of ticket scanning. It could also be connective problems or it could be as easy as that the sun interrupts.

Useful for getting around Stockholm but buying tickets a nightmare. When we bought two 3-day passes the app said there was a problem and to try again. We did and then found that the first purchases worked so we had 4 passes. We talked to the very friendly and helpful customer rep at the metro who put in a request to have the extra tickets refunded. Then when I checked my credit card we had actually been charged for THREE extra passes. It took over 2 weeks and much back and forth to get a refund.
