The app is great. However, it lacks some basic features as below: It would be great to have background logging. The app could save measured sound levels with timestamps as a text file as long as the meter is running. An option to automatically start logging on launch, plus a simple log explorer to view past recordings, would be perfect.

Works very well and any ads are quite unobtrusive. I've tried a couple of other sound meter apps, that were highly rated for some reason and the ads were so invasive, it made them virtually impossible to use.

This app doesn't seem to be accurate, as noticeable volume changes do not change the reading whatsoever. Verified my phone is fine, as another app reacted to volume changes.
