Cassandra Barnes lives in northern Maine, a quarter mile from the Canadian border. She spends her time as a retired school worker writing lesbian fiction, playing jazz keyboard and taking photos. She attended Boston University and Harvard and has been writing since she was a child.
She is primarily a poet and has lived in many spectacular places in north America -- several communes and many beautiful cities such as Chapel Hill, N.C.; Ketchikan, Alaska; Los Angeles and San Diego, including many others.
She loves to write lesbian fiction to try and enhance the life and times of all lesbian women around the world.
