About this ebook

Dawn Breaks... An officially licensed novelization of the epic 1984 Tolkienesque ZX Spectrum game "Doomdark's Revenge" by Mike Singleton.

"Drew has done it again! In Doomdark's Revenge, he has taken all the characters, the lore and packaged it all in a gripping can't put it down read. This is a must read for any fans of the land of Midnight and the Icemark."

"Doomdark's Revenge stands on its own two feet as a credible and enjoyable fantasy novel. Where it excels is as a worthy and authentic adaptation of a deeply-loved and groundbreaking strategy game."

"Drew Wagar delivers again. After his excellent adaptation of the late, great Mike Singleton's epic 1980s strategy game "The Lords of Midnight", author and Midnight fan Drew Wagar has written another authentic Midnight tale, this time of the sequel "Doomdark's Revenge".

Doomdark's Revenge, Book Two of the Midnight Chronicles

Doomdark, the Witchking, has been defeated by the Moonprince Luxor and the valour of the Free and the Fey. The curse of eternal winter has lifted from the land of Midnight

Yet the hard-won peace is short lived; a strange warning is received. Doomdark has a daughter, Shareth the Heartstealer. She sees Midnight as her rightful inheritance and plans to conquer it.

Shareth kidnaps Luxor's son, Morkin, on the eve of his wedding. Tarithel, his betrothed, tortured by dreams of Morkin's fate, finds her way into the strange realm of the Icemark, a land riven by conflict and warring factions. Luxor, aided by Rorthron the Wise and a company of Moonguard warriors, must journey across the Frozen Wastes to seek allies in hostile territory, in a desperate bid to stop Shareth.
