I was definitely looking forward to this as the opening chapter was so good and had a great meet cute. Plus I loved Jean-Michel in other related books when he popped up. Fortunately this is the start of a new series so you don't need to have read any of the other books to enjoy it but you would definitely appreciate the cameos if you have. As usual the writing and story flowed really well and made this a really easy and enjoyable read.

This story had me turning the pages. Jean-Michel was very intense, determined to have Tiff, and to protect her. He was quite dominant but willing to give her control occasionally. Tiff could not believe that anyone would want her, especially someone older and a billionaire. Tiff overcame her past and was working hard to improve her life, help her family, and be independent. I loved her hard-working ethic and her willingness to take a chance and give in to the attraction. There were obstacles.

I was so excited to dive into Bottles & Blades which is Jean-Michel Dubois owner of the Oakland Eagles hockey team as well as the Oak Ridge Vineyards and the woman who captured his heart nanny, Tiff. However Jean-Michel knows what and who he wants and is determined to achieve his objectives. This made for an entertaining, well written story that ticked all the boxes for me. As their relationship progressed it held plenty of heart, heat, romance and witty banter.
