About this ebook

In this juicy romance from the author of Recipe for Satisfaction, a bad boy shows a straitlaced law student how to slow down and savor the good things.

“Perfectly sweet, sexy, and fabulously fun.”—USA Today bestselling author Stacey Kennedy

Everly: My life so far has been one crazy blur. I can’t believe I’m about to graduate from law school and I haven’t even completed a single one of the meaningful, can’t-miss experiences my grandmother left for me in a bucket list. Then I meet Max Levin. Loaded and cocky, he is so not my type. In other words, he’s the perfect guy for the first item on my grandmother’s list: Go out with someone you’d never give the time of day.

Max: Inheriting my father’s adult entertainment company may not be every dude’s dream (scratch that, it probably is), but I’m not complaining. It’s just that until I meet Everly Parker, I had no idea what I was missing. She’s sweet, she’s ambitious—and she makes me wonder what the future might hold if I choose a normal relationship over the family business. The more the pressure mounts, the more I want to run away with Everly. Because being with her is the wildest ride of all.

I thought this was an interesting read and wasn’t sure what to expect with the setting in a porn industry. But I was pleasantly surprised. Max, who is in his twenties, is the vice-president of the family pornography production company. This is what defines him, at least to others. So you can imagine how everyone reacts when he tells them what he does for a living. You would think with this kind of setting it would revolve around sex. But it doesn’t excessively focus on it. There was only one scene I thought was a little out of place and didn’t fit Everly’s character. This is a story about finding out who you are and what you want to do in life. Then you have Everly. She is a smart, innocent law student. She leads a boring, simple life and law school is all she knows. Everly’s grandmother recently passed away and left her a bucket list. Everly and Max meet in a coffee shop. He sees her bucket list and decides to help her accomplish the list. While on this journey to tick off things on the bucket list, these two people from different worlds, slowly begin to fall in love. It is nice journey to watch. I have read a number of books by this author and this one does not disappoint.

I thought this one was awesome! The premise of the book is great and I fell in love with Everly and Max right away. Don't let the fact that Max is heading up porn empire fool you. The book is so much more. Yes, there are tons of red hot sexy times but the core story is a true romance. When do gooder Everly Parker and porn king Max Levin first meet there are definite sparks but she has no time and she's not his type. Then why can't he get her out of his mind. When he finds out she has a bucket list she's determined to complete, he seizes the opportunity to spend some time with her and help her complete it! I think everyone will enjoy this one, I definitely recommend it.
