S.G. Slade originally hails from Bristol in England, and spent many years in London before moving to Sydney, Australia, where she now lives with her husband, son, and a very small dog called Livvy. She has worked variously as a bartender, a secretary, a teacher, a shop assistant, and a nurse, but a lifelong obsession with books has never waned.
