About this ebook

Seeing the future isn’t all it’s cracked up to be… but even with my powers, I never saw the dark god coming.

The day I met him, I prophesied his death. That’s the short version.

It was an unbreakable prophesy. He immediately asked for my help to break it anyway. I told him no.

He doesn’t understand the word no.

I am the Blood of the Moon,

The Queen of the Vanir,

The most powerful witch in our realm,

and a Valkyrie.

And yet… somehow, here I am…a prisoner, locked in a blood oath with this brutal ruthless god to help him break an unbreakable fate.

I’m already half in love with him. He feels like my future, but how can he be when he’s doomed to die?

Maybe I’ll just kill the gorgeous bastard myself. He should be careful about underestimating me.

Valkyrie was amazing! It was modern mythology in the best way, blending it so seamlessly you felt like this was more truth then fiction. The story was a sweeping epic of love and tribulation with beautiful dashes of humor and heat that Kitty is known for. Freyja is a strong, confident goddess with all the needs of a woman and she does not shy away from that nor apologize for it. I love that she knows her personal worth and does not allow others to diminish her. Odin is every bit the trickster of legend, but he can't escape his fate or his feelings no matter how hard he tries. Every strong man needs a strong woman to survive, and I love watching both their growth and development in this story. I will say I may now need more stories of tricksome, eye patch wearing tattooed men of power to read. There was definite heat strung throughout this book to tease you along, but heavy brushes of story. It was wonderful to read.

There is just something so engaging when a story, based on characters you know, is done so right! This is one of those stories, because while we ‘know’ Freyja and Odin, we don’t know them like this. These two have sizzling chemistry and explosive passion, and both those things make for some interesting encounters. They also connect on a cerebral level, they are both of the same ilk, and that causes some great clashes and some greater understanding. Needless to say, the story pulled me in!
