So Much Going On . . . There are still so many discoveries being made and explored. Macey thought of Nessie, her “aunt” who may be so much more and who had lied to her for her entire life. And she was dealing with such strong desires to get in the pool, even after just being in it. When she helped put out Cam’s kitchen fire from the waffle-cooking experiment, she lobbed a small ball of water – which grew into a huge ball and almost drowned Cam. Ronan is also drawing her interest and she can’t figure it out. Flint did randomly suggest that whatever she wanted was fine with her men, even if it was to add one more. Ronan thought he could help her with the out-of-control magic, so they went to the pool area again. Although Ronan told Macey she had to be in human form for him to help her, she dove into the water and became a kelpie. She wanted to live here forever, move her men in with her into the pool. Ronan called out again to come onto the land so he could help her. Instead, she grabbed his leg and pulled him into the water. Why wouldn’t he shift to his seal form? So she dragged him under the water to force him, not knowing his skin had been stolen some time ago and he could not shift. He broke away and headed for the ladder to get out. Ah, he’s playing again, so she went after him. He shouted to Jared who had walked up and told him to empty the pool. They had to get her out of the water! And now she had Jared to play with too! As the water drained from the pool, she felt her sustaining energy leaving her too. She would have to shift to summon more water which she could only do from her human form. But why was it so painful to shift back? Then an air bubble formed around her, providing oxygen to breathe, and floated her out of the pool. Ronan explained she had been out of the water too long, over the two months while she was captured by the Voice. To recharge, she needs longer time in the water or to devour men… what did that mean? All of them, except one, went back inside but he continued to try to help her with this. Something built up inside her and he told her to let it go or she would implode. He made a lyrical humming sound and she finally began to scream, felt power fill her, and collapsed on the floor to sleep. Ronan was still singing to her when she woke, then he told her she now had scales even though she was in human form! And she wanted Ronan more than ever… why is she being so greedy? What was happening to her? Finally the Staran has been healed, but that doesn't mean that the world is safe yet. There are new problems to coming, and new allies to be made. The Seven Wardens' are gathered. Are they ready to face the next battle?

I loved this third story in the 'Seven Wardens' series. Macey and her crew are trying to overcome the events of the last book while new danger and excitement lies in the wait. I love Macey and her guys. Their connection is stellar and their love is romantic and sweet. This book was adventurous like all of the previous books and funny at times as well. I love the way these two authors come up with this magical world and make it so fun and addicting to read about. I'm in love with Macey and her crew's stories and I can't wait to get to the next book. I'm so excited to read more about them! Beneath the Earth is the third book in the Seven Wardens series and picks up right where book two left off. You shouldn't read this book without reading the first two. It is not a standalone story. Macey and the rest of the Wardens story is an ongoing story arc. This review is written assuming you have read the first two books so it may contain spoilers if you haven’t read them. Macey now knows the truth other parentage and the group of Warden's have defeated one of the entities that’s damaging the Starans. They're trying to solidify their bonds as the seven wardens and defeat the evil that is trying to destroy the worlds. Together they start to plan how they will right all that is wrong. Steamy and entertaining paranormal reverse harem. The story isn't complete and will continue into the next book. About the author

About Skye MacKinnon

Skye MacKinnon is an International Bestselling author with a slight obsession with Scotland, bunnies and dried mango. And when she says slight... her friends are trying to find ways to trick her into not having a book set in Scotland. You'll often find Skye bribing herself into writing words using cake and tea, but whatever works, right? Whether they're set in space (Scottish space, obviously), fantasy worlds (Scottish fantasy worlds, obviously), or Scotland, Skye's tales are full of magic, romance and adventure. Oh and unicorns.

About Laura Greenwood

Laura really needs to get around to writing a better biography. She's great at doing them for her friends, but not so much for herself. Until then...she's a USA Today Bestselling Author of Paranormal, Reverse Harem & Fantasy Romance...the romance being the important bit! From kelpies to dragons, and princesses to bakers, there's a wide range of heroines, with one thing in common: they know how to look after themselves. (But the romance is fun too!) When she's not writing, you can find Laura reading, cooking, baking or binge watching one of three TV shows. Or Pitch Perfect. She's been known to watch that a couple of times in a day.
