This was a short and very sweet , and a much needed palate cleanser! Jane and Ewan have both separately arrived from Scotland to London, and are trying to pretend they don't know each other due to their history. Of course, you can imagine how well that goes! Their avoidance works well with the regency style courtship. They're a sweet couple both of whom are willing to do what it takes. I love her stubbornness, and his want to be better than his father.

Cute, enjoyable read. Jane and Ewen wanted to court but life got in the way. In this story they get another chance in London. I enjoyed Ewen’s job to steal things and get them back to their legitimate owners. Also how he and Jane worked together to complete one of his jobs. This was definitely an entertaining quick read with interesting characters, I recommend you read it. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

After Baron Striline destroyed her family, Jane desperately left Scotland for London. She needed to find a husband who could also care for her mother and sisters; the new Season was the only way Jane could come up with. While at a ball, Jane sees Ewan Milne, the son of Baron Striline, and has mixed feelings. This quick read includes plenty of drama and is very romantic, ending in a HEA. Very highly recommended. I received a copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
