Il foglio n. 2583 del Fondo Mascarino dell’Accademia Nazionale di San Luca è l’unico disegno prospettico tra i circa 250 conservati nello stesso fondo. Fu probabilmente donato all’Accademia da Ottaviano Mascarino prima della morte avvenuta nel 1606. Il disegno, che rappresenta un loggiato di colonne doriche disposto ad emiciclo, non è mai stato analizzato monograficamente e la sua bibliografia è molto scarsa. Il saggio, attraverso l’analisi materiale del foglio e la restituzione prospettica, ne discute attribuzione, funzione ed esiti formali, collocandolo nel suo contesto storico. | Sheet n. 2583 in the Fondo Mascarino of the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca is the only perspective drawing of the approximately 250 drawings in the holding. It was probably donated to the Academy by Ottaviano Mascarino before he died in 1606. There is very little bibliography about this drawing of a loggia with Doric columns in a hemicycle; in addition, it has never been analysed monographically. This paper materially analyses the sheet and perspective restitution and discusses its attribution, function and formal success by placing it in its historical context.
