एकलव्य भारतवर्ष का वो महान योद्धा था जिसे प्रबुद्ध इतिहासकारों ने अंगूठे के दान की महिमा के साथ ही भुला दिया। इस महान धनुर्धारी के धनु कौशल और आधुनिक तीरंदाजी में उसके योगदान को इतिहासकारों ने भुला दिया है। यह महाकाव्य एकलव्य के अनछुए पहलुओं को छूती है, और हमें इस महान धनुर्धर की अनदेखे स्वरूप को दर्शाती है। जब सृष्टि की सारी शक्तियाँ एकलव्य के विरुद्ध थीं। गुरु द्रोण, और कृष्ण सरीखे महाबली महयोद्धा मिलकर उसे रोकने में लगे थे, उसके विरुद्ध थे, तब उसने अपने अदम्य श्रम से, उद्यम से धनुर्विद्या की उत्कृष्ठ कला अर्जित की थी। फिर अचानक एक दिन एकलव्य अपना सर्वोत्तम शस्त्र और स्वअर्जित विद्या गुरूदक्षिणा के रूप में गुरु द्रोण को अर्पित कर देता है- अपने दाहिने हाथ का अँगूठा काटकर गुरु चरणों में समर्पित कर देता है। ये वो समय था जब बिना अँगूठे के धनुष चलाने की कल्पना मात्र भी असम्भव था। उस काल मे एकलव्य पुनः अपने स्व-श्रम से, बिना किसी गुरु के, तीरंदाजी की एक ऐसी कला विकसित करता है जो स्वयं में अद्वितीय थी। कालांतर में एकलव्य की इस धनुकला को आधुनिक विज्ञान भी सर्वश्रेष्ट मान लेता है। आज विश्व के सभी तीरंदाज एकलव्य की इसी कला का प्रयोग अपने तीरंदाजी में करते हैं। एकलव्य की इसी कहानी को काव्य रूप में प्रस्तुत करता है - "अर्वाचीन धनुर्धर एकलव्य"। इस पुष्तक को पढ़कर आप एकलव्य के नये स्वरूप को जान पायेंगे और अपनी राष्ट्रभाषा पर गर्व की अनुभूति भी कर पायेंगे।

Inspiring story of Eklavya with easy hindi poetry. Perfect story lines,
amazing words. Poet tells the story in a flow. You can't stop yourself
without completing the book. Great work. Must read.

#Eklavya is amazing poetry book. It describes new dimensions about Eklavya-
how he groomed himself after loosing his thumb and without any support from
any mankind. He explored new method of archery which later declared as best
metho5of archery.

मूल रूप से मुजफ्फरपुर बिहार के नरेन्द्र वर्तमान में सूरत गुजरात में एक टेक्सटाइल कम्पनी में उपमहाप्रबंधक के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। टेक्सटाइल इंजीनिरिंग करने के बाद पिछले 16 बर्षों से वस्त्र उद्योग की सेवा कर रहे हैं। शिक्षक परिवार में जन्मे नरेन्द्र हमेशा से ही हिन्दी भाषा और कविता से जुडाव महसूस करते रहे हैं। सोशल मीडिया पर ब्लोग के रूप में अपनी कवितायें पिछले 15 बर्षों से लिख रहे हैं। ‘‘एकलव्य‘‘ पुस्तक का आकार लेने वाली इनकी पहली कृति है। भविष्य में महाभारत के विभिन्न योद्धाओं पर भी महाकाव्य लाने के लिये प्रयत्नशील हैं।
