About the author
Renate Schildmann wurde in Wilhelmshaven geboren, wuchs jedoch in Oldenburg auf und lebt auch dort. Sie liebt das Meer, den Himmel, die Wolken. Nach einem Studium in Kunst und Deutsch unterrichtete sie in Ostfriesland und bildete sich bei renommierten Künstlern in Aktmalerei, Landschaftsmalerei, Radierung, Zeichnen und Fotografie in zahlreichen Seminaren und an der Sommerakademie Marburg weiter. Prof. Emö Simonyi/München, Micha Bartsch/Berlin, Prof. Martin Seidemann/Berlin, Theo Haasche (Künstlergruppe Martha)/Oldenburg und Andrey Gradetchliev aus Oldenburg zählten zu ihren Lehrern.
