Schulseelsorge wird in der Praxis zunehmend als notwendig empfunden – eine grundlegende Theorie fehlte ihr jedoch bislang. Diesem Desiderat begegnet die sorgsame und aufwändige Studie der Autorin, indem sie die Rahmenbedingungen von Schulseelsorge multiperspektivisch beleuchtet und Schulseelsorge in systemtheoretischer Hinsicht als System struktureller Kopplung begründet. In praktisch-theologischer Hinsicht weist sie Schulseelsorge als umfassende Form der Kommunikation des Evangeliums in der Schule aus, die in basalen schulseelsorgerlichen Kommunikationsformen beschrieben werden kann und deutlich über den Religionsunterricht hinausweist. In empirischer Hinsicht wird durch die Analyse von Qualifizierungsmaßnahmen und Schüler-Aussagen die Diagnoseeigenschaft der erarbeiteten theoretischen Grundlegung belegt. [School Chaplaincy. System of Structural Coupling] In practice school chaplaincy is increasingly considered to be indispensable, but a basic theory is missing. This study examines the framework conditions in a multi-perspective approach and establishes school chaplaincy from a system-theoretical point of view as system of structural coupling. From a practical-theological perspective, it reflects the role of school chaplaincy as a comprehensive form of communicating the gospel at school, which can be described in basal forms of communication. From an empirical point of view, the analysis of pupils' self-assessment reveals the diagnostic features of the theoretical foundation.

Anna-Katharina Lienau, Dr. theol., Jahrgang 1980, ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Praktische Theologie und Religionspädagogik der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster. Sie studierte Evangelischen Theologie, Geschichte und Musik für das Lehramt, promovierte in Religionspädagogik mit einer Arbeit zu Gebeten im Internet und habilitierte sich 2017 mit der vorliegenden Studie.
