California-born Shirley Marks lives in Silicon Valley with her husband and unpredictable Australian Cattle Dog mix. Shirley dreams of travel to and from London, Paris, and Florence to research settings, develop new characters, and stories to weave together for her upcoming novel. When at home, she spends time reading, writing, and trying to get the odd knitting project completed.
