California-born Shirley Marks lives in Silicon Valley with her software engineer husband and unpredictable Rat Terrier. Shirley dreams of returning to London, Paris, and Florence to research settings, develop new characters, and stories to weave together for her upcoming novels. When at home, she spends time reading, writing, and trying to get the odd knitting project completed. Shirley writes Traditional Regency Romance stories (sweet/clean), clean Romantic Comedies, and a couple of paranormal novels.
