I enjoyed reading this book because of how concise and straight forward his style is. Smith does not set out to guilt you about having things, but asks the reader to mindfully, and almost spiritually, consider what clutters their lives. I would recommend this book along with Kondo's book , Fortin& Quilici's New Minimalism, and Becker's Minimalist Home for people wanting to declutter and embrace minimalism withoutgoing to extremes.

This book hit what I was looking for spot on - minimalism from a biblical standpoint. And it delivered more than I expected. Due to my family, both immediate and extended having a hard time accepting my minimalist lifestyle I began to question as to whether I was not living based on good values. This book shined a light and supports my reasons for choosing a minimalist lifestyle. This book illustrates what I was wishing (but didn’t have the knowledge) to convey to my family about minimalism. This book is beautifully written, organized and easy to follow and I’m actually very surprised there are not more reviews.
