About the author

Professor Tsediso Michael Makoelle (PhD, DEd) is currently the vice dean for research at Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan. He is a recipient of the prestigious Nelson Mandela scholarship to the United Kingdom (UK). He has published over 80 research pieces and supervised over 10 PhD theses and many master’s students.

Raj Mestry is Emeritus Professor at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a National Research Foundation rated researcher. He has published extensively and serves on editorial boards of journals. He received the prestigious Research Medal and Medal of Honor awards from the Education Association of South Africa.

Professor Pierre Du Plessis is a recipient of the Education Association of South Africa’s research medal and is also a rated researcher from the National Research Foundation (NRF). He has published extensively and supervised over 100 master’s and 15 PhD students. He serves on panels of the research foundation and of educational journals.
