Band 37 legt den Schwerpunkt auf kultur-, gesellschafts-, staats-, rechts- und wirtschaftsgeschichtliche Themen aus der Epoche des österreichisch-ungarischen Dualismus. Das Mittelalter und die Frühe Neuzeit des Stephansreiches beleuchtet er anhand geistes- und erinnerungsgeschichtlicher Aspekte, die Jahrzehnte nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg im Hinblick auf die Stellung der katholischen Kirche und der Nationalitäten im kommunistischen Ungarn.
