Editorial: Früher habe ich mich vor einem Aufstand überlegener intelligenter Maschinen gefürchtet, die genau wissen, was sie tun. Nicht, dass die Gefahr gebannt wäre – immerhin sind Killerroboter, die Menschen ins Visier nehmen, kurz vor dem Sprung vom Labor aufs Schlachtfeld. Aber meine aktuelle Angst gilt eher Robotern, die uns durch Fehlschlüsse gefährden. Wir geben in immer mehr Bereichen an Maschinen ab, denen wir noch nicht zuverlässig beibringen können, Wichtiges von Unwichtigem zu unterscheiden. Was, wenn die mechanischen Geschöpfe stets genauso fehlbar bleiben wie ihre Programmierer?
