Autorin lebt in Wilhelmshaven, ist verheiratet und hat einen erwachsenen Sohn. Sie liebt Schweden, sowohl als Urlaubsziel als auch als Tatorte ihrer unzähligen gelesenen Krimis. Vor sieben Jahren schrieb sie die Lebensgeschichte ihres Vaters "Der Weihnachtsgruß" als Roman beim gleichnamigen Verlag.
