I admit, I didn't expect to like Steelheart when I downloaded the sample but it hooked me from the first chapter. When I finished it, I waited patiently for Firefight to come out. It did not disappoint. Fast-paced and flowing, even the predictabilities of the plot worked in such a way that I was racing through the chapters eager to find out where and how. Thoroughly enjoyed. Do recommend reading Steelheart first.

Another spectacular novel from Sanderson. Always doing something interesting, breaking your expectations and creating rich worlds that draw you in. Couldn't put it down.
