About this app

Network Analyzer can help you diagnose various problems in your wifi network setup, Internet connectivity, and also detect various issues on remote servers thanks to the wide range of tools it provides.

It is equipped with a fast wifi device discovery tool, including all the LAN device's addresses and names. Further, Network Analyzer contains standard net diagnostic tools such as ping, traceroute, port scanner, DNS lookup, and whois. Finally, it shows all neighbouring wi-fi networks together with additional details such as signal strength, encryption and router manufacturer to help discovering the best channel for a wireless router. Everything works with both IPv4 and IPv6.

Wifi signal meter:
- Both graphical and textual representation showing network channels and signal strengths
- Wifi network type (WEP, WPA, WPA2)
- Wifi encryption (AES, TKIP)
- BSSID (router MAC address), manufacturer, WPS support
- Bandwidth (Android 6 and newer only)

LAN scanner:
- Fast and reliable detection of all network devices
- IP addresses of all discovered devices
- NetBIOS, mDNS (bonjour), LLMNR, and DNS name where available
- Pingability test of discovered devices
- Detection of IPv6 availability

Ping & traceroute:
- Round trip delay including IP address and hostname for every network node
- Support of both for IPv4 and IPv6

Port scanner:
- Fast, adaptive algorithm for scanning the most common ports or user specified port ranges
- Detection of closed, firewalled, and open ports
- Description of the known open port services

Whois:
- Whois of domains, IP addresses and AS numbers
- Support of both for IPv4 and IPv6

Pass its due date; I used to be happy with the basic functions and did not mind some ads on the bottom of the screen, however.... now it has an requirement to allow over 130 tracker cookies, and if you try to disable any it will force you into an loop where you cannot use the app without enabling all trackers !?! clearly they do not want you to use the socalled "free" version!

I've addressed this issue in the 4.1 version of the app where the cookie consent isn't mandatory to launch the app. Also, the app has never used 100+ ad providers - it used Google Admob only but the consent dialog was showing all available providers - I've modified it to show Google only. Sorry for the trouble.

Great. I've been using another app for years, but now it locks you if you try to scan networks more than 2 times. So I found this app and I'm liking it a lot. Please don't make the app to ask you and cut your scanning ability if you don't have the monthly subscription. I'll buy the Network Analyzer when I'm able to!

they did a great job in this app. I use it frequently. It's handy for finding your nearby WiFi or cell tower has the stronger signal, or at home to see if your neighbors WiFi is possibly contending with your own on the same channel in parts of your home that are weaker. if you just like being geeky and scanning local WiFi signals, or port scanning your own it does that too.
