The router system is very good and reliable. However, the app has been very buggy over the past year or so. I don't know if they have a QA department for the app but I can surely take a guess. Right now, no devices are showing up on the app. And honestly if it's not one thing with this app, it's another. Considering looking to another brand.

Almost doubled price compared with other brands, you still have to pay for security seperately (super expansive). All the license of the product is not account linked but product linked. Which means you paid for security services for router A , but you can not use it for new router B. The license transfer takes days even weeks. Software support is also weak. The UI feels like it's from 20 years ago. There are not much you can do with phone app. And the app is very laggy. So think twice!!

Well, finally after the last update, at least the router itself is showing the connections again. But alas, the satellites still don't and you still have to use the abominable slow web interface for that. And alas, after 3 years still no sync in icons between the web and the app version of the software. Netgear is really going down the slope here, my next network will definitely not be from this brand anymore. This is a real nuisance and a very very annoying way to manage your network.
